Ozempic®, Wegovy® Zepbound®, and Mounjaro® are GLP-1 medications that has drastically change how a person loose weight. According to clinical trials, average weight loss while on GLP-1/GIP (tirzepatide) medications such as Zepbound® and Mounjaro® has shown over 14% weight loss over a period of 72 weeks (Tirzepatide studies). Additional studies for GLP-1 (semaglutide) medications such as Wegovy® and Ozempic ® have shown a weight loss of approximately 14.9% over a period of 68 weeks (Semaglutide studies).
For medications like Wegovy® (Semaglutide) or Zepbound® (Tirzepatide), our medical team will submit prior authorization to your insurance to determine eligibility.
Send prescription for Zepbound vials or Wegovy pens for cash pay directly to Lilly Direct® Pharmacy or NovoCare® pharmacy.
Pay using FSA/HSA and we can take care of any letter of medical necessity paperwork needed.
Insurance coverage may require the following criteria:
No personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, Type II (MEN II)
BMI of 30+ kg/m², or BMI of 27–29.9 kg/m² with an obesity-related condition
Zepbound is FDA approved for both obstructive sleep apnea or obesity
Wegovy is FDA approved to treat patients with established cardiovascular disease and either obesity or overweight or to reduce ones body weight in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older.

After Your Consultation:
- If your prior authorization is approved, your GLP-1 medication will be sent directly to your local pharmacy.
- Each month, you will be billed for a refill review, during which our medical provider will assess your progress and send your prescription refill to your pharmacy.
- When you’re ready for a refill, simply submit a request using our Refill Request Form.
